The table provides the following information for each of the Silene latifolia individuals in the experiment: distribution range (range; native: eu, invasive: us), population affiliation (corresponds to population IDs in Fig. S1, and Table S2), maternal family of the mother in the first generation crossing (maternal_family, a-e), applied breeding treatment (breeding_tmt; outbreeding: o, inbreeding: i), applied herbivory treatment (herbivory_tmt; control: c, herbivory: h) and the intensity (i.e., peak area) of each metabolic feature (characterized by retention time [min] and mass/charge ratio [m/z]).
