A previous study has identified H3K36me3 as an important regulator of Mismatch Repair (MMR) in vivo by recruiting mismatch recognition protein MutSα to the chromatin. In this study, we want to demonstrate the genome-wide interaction between H3K36me3 and MutSα, and how this interaction influence local mutation frequency during DNA replication and transcription processes.
