Substrate: live Montastrea annularis; Sampled and identified by K. Rützler. All measurements are of mature, fully formed oxeas to allow statistical comparison with other samples. Measurements conducted spicules by C. Schönberg on preparation of acid-cleaned spicules made by C. Schönberg.
