A High-Fidelity Dataset of Surface Pressure Measurements on Prismatic Buildings from Boundary-Layer Wind Tunnel Tests: Part I - Low-Rise Buildings with Flat Roofs With and Without Parapets

Description: This repository contains boundary-layer wind tunnel data for a set of parametric low-rise building models equipped with flat roofs, including configurations both with and without parapets. The measurements were conducted at a geometric scale of 1:250 under terrain category II inflow conditions. Each model was tested for 32 inflow directions in increments of 11.25°, and 30 statistically independent storm realizations were recorded per direction. Pre-processed surface pressure coefficient time series are provided in HDF5 format, accompanied by statistical datasets containing mean, standard deviation, higher statistical moments, peak factors, and characteristic Gumbel-based pressure coefficients for tributary areas of 1 m² and 10 m². Each configuration also includes a detailed PDF datasheet documenting geometry, pressure tap layout, and representative visualizations of processed results. The structure of all datasets follows the documentation described in the corresponding Datapaper, which provides a complete overview of the experimental setup, preprocessing methods, data organization, and underlying FAIR principles. This repository is intended to support research in wind engineering, structural design, and CFD validation of flat-roof building configurations.
