Hard Internal Support Technique for Transradial Intracranial Aneurysm Embolization: Technical Nuances and Outcomes

Our center developed the Hard Internal Support (HIS) technique, combining multiple devices (e.g., 5F Simmons2 catheters/reshaped multipurpose catheters, V18 guidewires, hydrophilic guidewires) to optimize radial access. It comprises two components: support-assisted positioning and internal support reinforcement. This technique enhances support for 6F intermediate catheters without external reinforcement, addressing unmet needs in TRA neurointerventions.
