Vigna nakashimae is basically salt-tolerant but some accessions have lost it. To identify the gene for the variation in salt tolerance, we performed QTL analysis with a population derived from bi-parental cross, sequenced and assembled the genomes of both parents, and transcriptome analysis to retrieve DEGs between the parents under salt stress.
