Dataset for an Exploratory Pilot Study on the Integration of e-Service-Learning with Optional Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in Higher Education

This dataset contains anonymized data collected during an exploratory pilot study that examined the integration of e-Service-Learning in higher education courses, with the optional use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. Data were gathered from undergraduate and/or graduate students through structured questionnaires and course-related instruments. The dataset includes variables related to students’ participation in e-Service-Learning activities, perceptions of learning outcomes, engagement, and the voluntary use of AI-based tools to support academic tasks. All personal identifiers were removed prior to data sharing to ensure participant confidentiality. The dataset supports the analyses reported in the associated research article and can be reused for research purposes related to technology-enhanced learning, service-learning, and AI integration in higher education.
