Data on phenology and functional traits of 16 herbaceous plant species from botanical gardens and semi-natural grasslands, and respective environmental conditions

This dataset contains data on weekly phenological observations, derived phenological stages, and measured functional traits of 16 herbaceous species occurring in semi-dry and mesophilic grassland sites as well as in the Botanical garden Jena in 2020. In each site, we also measured environmental parameters and conducted vegetation surveys. The R code used to analyse the data is also included.
