This dataset of water temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen profiles was obtained during the Pacific Oceanographic Cruise LIX / XXII Joint Regional Oceanographic Research Cruise in the Northeast Pacific, developed between September 19th and October 11th, 2019, by the Pacific Oceanographic and Hydrographic Research Center (CCCP) of the General Maritime Directorate (DIMAR), aboard the research vessel ARC Malpelo, covering 43 stations located throughout the Colombian Pacific basin, to continue with the Regional Study of the El Niño Phenomenon (ERFEN) program, to evaluate the oceanographic and meteorological conditions of the basin, and to analyze physical, chemical, biological and meteorological conditions of this area, as a contribution to the understanding and monitoring of El Niño-Southern Oscillation.
