Peirce Interprets Peirce Knowledge Graph (PIP-KG)

A layered knowledge graph of the Charles S. Peirce papers (MS Am 1632), held at the Houghton Library, Harvard University. The graph integrates: - Archival metadata (RiC-O), 2,489 records with 361 having at least one digital instantiation;- Semiotic annotation (LMM3), with two annotated manuscripts: the Prolegomena to an Apology for Pragmaticism (PAP), manually annotated, and the Logic Notebook (MS 339), annotated through automatic NER against the Commens concept set;- Commens Dictionary, 479 concepts and 2,240 attestations;- A bridge to the Collected Papers, 2,999 paragraphs linked to source manuscripts;- A provenance attribution layer (PROV-O);- Five SHACL shapes (3 internal, 2 external) for validation; the graph conforms with 0 violations on 18,802 entities. Total: 191,742 triples organised in 6 named graphs. The resource accompanies the submission to ISWC 2026 Resources Track and is part of the SNSF-funded research project "Peirce Interprets Peirce" (PIP). Documentation, schema, queries, SHACL shapes, and pipeline scripts are included in the attached archive.
