Vibrio cholerae pathogenicity island 2 encodes two distinct types of restriction systems 1/3

This dataset is part of the paper "Vibrio cholerae pathogenicity island 2 encodes two distinct types of restriction systems" (Vizzarro et al., 2024). It includes PacBio Single Molecule, Real-Time (SMRT) sequencing performed at the Genomic Technology Facility of the University of Lausanne. In total, 10 strains were sequenced.

The aim of the sequencing was to obtain a comprehensive view of the genomic modifications of a selection of 7PET V. cholerae serogroup isolates. Subsequently, it allowed a comparison between different strains to identify a distinct methylation motif dependent on the Type 1 RM encoded by VPI-2.

The dataset is split into 3 submissions, with the present one being the first of the three (1/3).
