Biomarkers of neuroinflammation in neurodegenerative sclerosis spreadsheet from Costa et al., 2024

Genetic polymorphisms in genes of the inflammatory pathways may increase the susceptibility to develop exacerbated neuroinflammatory reactions, as well as serve as a trigger for the apoptotic processes in neurodegenerative sclerosis. This spreadsheet sums up our data from a systematic review, in which we list the genetic polymorphisms statistically associated with ALS and MS susceptibility reported in neuroinflammatory pathway genes, enabling us to highlight potential biomarkers for each disease.
