Proteome database of Shewanella algae strain BrY

Shewanella algae is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped bacterium. At present, relatively little is known about the organism compared to other microbes. This work presents the proteome database of S. algae strain BrY by parsing its annotated proteome downloaded from UniProt. Comprising protein name, amino acid sequence, number of residues, molecular weight, and nucleotide sequence, the resource should be useful in gaining a deeper understanding of the relatively less understood microbe.
