Classifier performance comparison on a held-out test set for dataset 1 (denoted with *) and 2 for those in silico communities that are present in both datasets. These in silico communities are constructed and used in exactly the same way, that is, they are evenly distributed communities consisting out of the same number of cells and made up out of the same bacterial taxa. Classifiers are trained on 70% of the data and evaluated on the opposite 30% data.
