资源简介:
During vaginal colonization, Staphylococcus aureus under certain conditions can produce the toxin, TSST-1, which can lead to the serious disease menstrual toxic shock syndrome. This RNA-seq experiment was designed to compare wild-type Staphylococcus aureus (MN8) to a mutant where the glucose based regulator, CcpA, has been deleted. Bacteria where cultured in vaginally defined media for 4 or 8 hours prior to RNA extraction and sequencing.
