资源简介:
This file contains plots of time-intensity profiles for three groups of solar radio bursts at nine fixed frequencies. The radio data is from the US Air Force’s Radio Solar Telescope Network (RSTN). The four RSTN stations (located at Sagamore Hill (MA, US), Palehua (HI, US), Learmonth (Australia), and San Vito, Italy) monitor the Sun at eight frequencies: 245 MHz, 410 MHz, 606 MHz, 1415 MHz, 2695 MHz, 4995 MHz, 8800 MHz, and 15400 MHz. The 1-sec data are available at https://www.ngdc.noaa. gov/stp/space-weather/solar-data/solar-features/solar-radio/rstn-1-second/. The ninth frequency for which data are plotted is 940 kHz (referred to here as 1 MHz) from the Waves experiment (Bougeret et al. 1995; “Waves: The Radio and Plasma Wave Investigation on the Wind Spacecraft”, Space Science Reviews, 71, 231. Doi: 10.1007/BF00751331). These 1-minute data can be found at: https://cdaweb.gsfc. nasa.gov/pub/data/wind/waves/. Plots are included for three groups of solar flares: (1) 35 ≥M1 soft X-ray flares compiled by Chen et al. (2015; “Confined Flares in Solar Active Region 12192 from 2014 October 18 to 29 for the large area spot group NOAA 12192”, Astrophysical Journal, 808, L24. Doi: doi.10.1088/2041-8205/808/1/L24), of these 35 events, 29 were confined (no coronal mass ejection; CME), four had a CME and/or an EUV jet, and two others had insufficient microwave data to determine the spectrum in the available microwave range (410 MHz – 15 400 MHz); (2) group of 17 ≥M5 confined flares culled from the 2010-2016 “ribbon database”; http://solarmuri.ssl.berkeley.edu/~kazachenko/RibbonDB/) (Kazachenko et al. (2017; “A Database of Flare Ribbon Properties from the Solar Dynamics Observatory. I. Reconnection Flux”, Astrophysical Journal, 845, article id. 49, described in Kazachenko (2023; “A Database of Magnetic and Thermodynamic Properties of Confined and Eruptive Solar Flares”, Astrophysical Journal, 958, id.104. Doi: 10.3847/1538-4357/ad004e) and (3) a corresponding set of 29 eruptive flares taken from Kazachenko (2023). For technical reasons, the Kazachenko (2023) data base is restricted to flares that occurred within 45° of solar central meridian. The three groups of events are contained in a single folder.
