Green roof mapping data Germany

This dataset contains raster outputs from a green roof classification model trained based on high-resolution satellite imagery and aggregated results covering settlements in Germany. Provided geodata have been created as part of a research project supporting the national climate change impact and adaptation monitoring in Germany. Included data are provided for 2021 and 2025. All geodata are embedded into a SpatioTemporal Asset Catalogue (STAC) consisting of two collections: 1) pixel- and building-level green roof classification results and 2) results further aggregated at municipal level, covering 190 municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants.
