资源简介:
Laboratory burns were conducted to characterize smoke emissions from building materials found at the wildland urban interface. Experiments probed emissions from smoldering and flaming combustion for nine man-made fuels. The data here are the observations from the laboratory experiments and the experimental parameters. Version updated on 10/30/2024.<b>Burn ID</b>: Experiment identification number<b>Fuel:</b> Material Burned<b>Temperature</b>: Temperature of Experiment<b>Mass Consumed:</b> Amount of Material Consumed during Burn<b>Minimum O2 Reading</b>: Lowest O2 observed during experiment (%)<b>Modified Combustion Efficiency (MCE):</b> a metric used to characterize combustion conditions<b>Scattering_405nm_Mm-1</b>: Observed aerosol scattering at 405nm in Mm-1 from PASS-3<b>Absorption_405nm_Mm-1</b>: Observed aerosol absorption at 405nm in Mm-1 from PASS-3<b>Scattering_532nm_Mm-1:</b> Observed aerosol scattering at 532 in Mm-1 from PASS-3<b>Absorption_532nm_Mm-1</b>: Observed aerosol absorption at 532 in Mm-1 from PASS-3<b>SSA_405nm</b>: Single Scattering Albedo calculated for 405 nm<b>SSA_532nm</b>: Single Scattering Albedo calculated for 532 nm<b>AAE_405_532</b>: Absorption angstrom exponents is the wavelength dependency for light absorption calculated between 405 nm and 532 nm.
