The synthesized mesophases were first characterized by
polarized optical microscopy (POM) imaging and results are uploaded using Nikon
ECLIPSE LV 100 POL microscope. A high intensity 50 W halogen light source was
used for optical microscopy.The focal conic texture is
the important characteristic of the hexagonal liquid crystals.
