Studying of hydrogen (and deuterium) inclusion compounds is vital to elucidate details of hydrogen dynamics and its interactions with host material. The interest in them is justified by the prediction that hydrogen-rich compounds are expected to be high-temperature superconductors. We propose to carry out neutron powder diffraction study of arsenic(III) oxide inclusion compound with deuterium at high pressure, at room and low temperature. The goal of the experiments is to elucidate exact stoichiometry and a better crystal structure model of the compound. We also hope to gain insight into the dynamics of hydrogen molecules.
