Dataset for: Supply-limited post-fire sediment transport and geochemical fingerprinting during rill erosion

This dataset contains the experimental data supporting the manuscript "Supply-limited post-fire sediment transport and geochemical fingerprinting during rill erosion." The dataset includes: (i) field measurements from controlled post-fire rill erosion experiments (runoff, sediment flux, hydraulic variables, and experimental conditions), (ii) laboratory measurements of pH, particle-size distribution, high-temperature loss-on-ignition (LOI800), and (iii) geochemical analyses of exported sediments and reference source materials. Data were collected from burned hillslopes affected by the 2021 Lick Creek Fire in Washington, USA, and the 2022 Moose Fire in Idaho, USA. All files are provided in CSV format. Fieldexperiment_data.csv – Field measurements from controlled concentrated-flow experiments, including runoff rate, sediment flux, runoff velocity, hydraulic characteristics, and experimental conditions. pH_data.csv – pH measurements of exported sediments and reference source materials. LOI800_data.csv – High-temperature loss-on-ignition (LOI800) measurements. PS_data.csv – Particle-size distribution data for exported sediments. geochem_data.csv – Geochemical composition and enrichment-factor data for exported sediments and reference source materials.
