Water temperature data for 20 gauges in Yenisei River basin, Russia (1936-2018)

We introduce a new Arctic River temperature data set covering 20 gauges in the Yenisei River drainage basin in Russia. Ten-day averaged discharge data (dekads) were collected from Russian official archival sources. The data covers a period from 1936 to 2018 with most data falling in the range from 1945 to 2018. However, there is a gap in the data during 1984-1989 due to lack of original data sources for this period. Data is available in two files: the station attributes file which contains information about each station, and the data file containing time series of river temperature. The water temperature data were collected to identify possibility of their long-term reconstructions with tree-ring data.
