This data shows a filtered list of U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) projects specially delineated as encompassing Nature-based Solutions (NbS). Retrieved and cleansed from the complete HMA project database, the data comprise core financial and administrative variables such as project amount, federal share obligated, project type, location (state and county), and year of installation. These projects were filtered through text-matching and classification criteria reflecting ecological resilience and green infrastructure features, such as wetland restoration, floodplain restoration, and living shoreline. Such a data set facilitates empirical investigation of cost-sharing practice, federal-local intergovernmental collaboration, and climate adaptation's fiscal architecture through NbS. This data was directly used for quantitative regression and distributional analyses of the federal cost-sharing premium of urban adaptation finance for NbS.<br><br>
