以太湖流域为研究区,基于DMSP/OLS稳定夜间灯光数据,采用不变目标法对夜间灯光数据进行饱和校正,借鉴土地利用程度的概念提出城镇开发程度指数,从表征城镇扩张的国内生产总值、非农人口、建成区面积和非农人口比例四个指标对城镇开发程度指数进行验证,相关性较好。数据分析结果表明,基于夜间灯光数据构建的城镇开发程度指数能够综合反映经济水平、城镇边界扩张、非农人口比例等城镇发展特征,有效表征城镇扩张现象。该数据集包括2000-2010年逐年太湖流域城镇开发程度(UDL)数据,空间分辨率为1 km。该数据集存储为.tif格式,由44个数据文件组成,数据量为6.21 MB(压缩为1个文件313 KB)。该数据集的分析研究成果发表在《生态学报》2018年38卷第16期。
Taking the Taihu Lake Basin as the study area, the invariant target method was employed to conduct saturation correction on DMSP/OLS stable nighttime light data. Drawing on the concept of land use intensity, the Urban Development Level Index (UDL) was proposed. Four indicators related to urban expansion, including gross domestic product (GDP), non-agricultural population, built-up area and proportion of non-agricultural population, were adopted to validate the UDL, with favorable correlation achieved. Data analysis results demonstrate that the UDL constructed based on nighttime light data can comprehensively reflect urban development characteristics such as economic level, urban boundary expansion and proportion of non-agricultural population, and effectively characterize urban expansion. This dataset contains annual UDL data of the Taihu Lake Basin from 2000 to 2010, with a spatial resolution of 1 km. The dataset is stored in .tif format, consisting of 44 data files, with a total size of 6.21 MB (compressed to 313 KB as a single file). The research findings based on this dataset were published in *Acta Ecologica Sinica*, Volume 38, Issue 16, 2018.
