Temperatures of Fumaroles measured by contact sensor (Thermocouple Type K) on the upper rim of La Fossa cone

Time series of temperature data consisting in 1 measure a day, from 1992 to 2018, from the Island of Vulcano, (Aeolian Archipelago, Italy). The monitoring site is the F5AT fumarole vent. The temperature data are acquired by a remotely controlled monitoring station located in the summit area of the La Fossa cone. The sampling interval of 1 day (measurement time is about 12 o’clock), has been selected from the highest number of recorded data. The monitoring activity is still going on. Logging intervals shorter than 1 hour can be programmed by remote, for some periods of time (e.g. weeks).
