The PEdesTrian Attribute Dataset (PETA) is a dataset developed for recognizing pedestrian attributes from long-distance scenarios, such as gender and clothing styles. It targets video surveillance scenes where close-up shots of pedestrians' faces and bodies are barely obtainable. It comprises 19,000 pedestrian images annotated with 65 attributes, including 61 binary attributes and 4 multi-class attributes. These images cover a total of 8,705 unique pedestrians.
