Fuel Moisture Content Data from the 2025 Department of Defense Wildland Fire Science Initiative Fort Stewart Campaign

To measure fuel moisture content, vegetation was collected at adjacent burn units with similar land cover, species composition, and time since the last prescribed burn to F3.3, F6.6, F8.1, and F8.2. This dataset provides fuel moisture content data by fuel type, collected in April 2025. This dataset is part of the Wildland Fire Science Initiative (WFSI) research burn campaign held at Fort Stewart from April 14, 2025 to April 18, 2025. In addition, pre- and post-fire data collection occurred before and after these dates.
