Government Property Index - GPI

The Government Property Index (GPI) allows the general public to view and search basic information on NSW Government-owned land and view it on a map through the NSW Planning Portal – Spatial Viewer.\r\n\r\nThe final dataset was derived through the implementation of the following inputs - \r\n\r\n- GPR \r\n\r\n- Crown Lands (DCDB)\r\n\r\n- National Parks \r\n\r\n- Land Parcels (DCDB)\r\n\r\n- Spatial Services\r\n\r\n- PlanningDB\r\n\r\n- Property (GURAS)\r\n\r\nFurthermore, there are five data fields which are in-scope for the GPI - \r\n\r\n1.\tLot / Section / Plan \r\n\r\n2.\tAddress \r\n\r\n3.\tArea\r\n\r\n4.\tZone \r\n\r\n5.\tLocal Government Area (LGA)\r\n\r\nTwo special cases are Crown Land data and National Parks data, which were obtained by ‘intersecting’ the land parcels (Lot/Section/Plan) against the Crown Land Polygon and the National Parks (Estate) Polygon respectively.\r\n\r\nThrough the combined processing of these inputs into the GPI database, the final spatial data was added onto the NSW Planning Portal – Spatial Viewer for consumption by the public.\r\n
