SSK-GAIN: A Cross-Domain Ontology and Entity Catalogue for Semiconductor Supply Chain Geopolitics

An OWL 2 ontology in four modules (core, international relations, supply chain, cross-domain bridge) with SHACL shapes, an instantiated and machine-validated entity catalogue (deposited pilot graph, 21,561 triples), and the validation toolkit that reproduces every check reported in the accompanying resource article. The bridge module contributes five cross-domain relations with constrained domains and ranges, one per transmission mechanism of coercion. Entities resolve across domains through shared, reified canonical identifiers (LEI, ISO 3166-1 alpha-3, Wikidata) under an inverse functional axiom that keeps identity inference within OWL 2 DL. Validation comprises ten checks in five pairs: OWL RL consistency reasoning, SHACL conformance, per-relation range probes, module-document integrity, and injection probes that prove the checks are not vacuous. Version 0.1.6 adds an end-to-end worked case joining the Entity List designation of SMIC to a documented supply relation through a shared identifier individual. Records from sources whose licences forbid redistribution (ETO CC-BY-NC-4.0; UN Comtrade, United Nations copyright) are excluded; the schema and full construction procedure are published so users with their own access can reconstruct the complete catalogue.
