Soil microbial community response to struvite and vivianite

The study aims to investigate how recycled struvite and vivianite impact the soil microbial communities across diverse management backgrounds. To this end, soils from 3 agricultural fields, a meadow, and a forest were amended with struvite and vivianite and incubated for 40 days. The microbial community composition was assessed at 0, 7, and 40 days after amendment through 16S rRNA and ITS partial gene amplicon sequencing.
