Every entry in this dataset is intricately linked to a TV viewing session across our smart TV panel of over 12 million devices. The data measures TV viewership with identifiers to signal unique viewing experiences. The TV viewership monitoring spans 210 DMAs across the country. Viewing sessions include coverage for 1200 broadcast and cable stations, as well as 180+ apps and input devices. Each entry of the data set measures the station, channel, and program viewership with time stamp and session duration.
Media buyers and sellers can leverage the data to gain a rich understanding of TV by geography, content viewing, and by TV media type. The data delves into the shifts between traditional TV viewership and streaming viewers. Non PII household level insights help media buyers and sellers understand the share of attention that stations, programs, and apps receive at a national and local level. The data can be shared in a PII protected manner to gain valuable attribution insights.
The AdImpact Content Viewership data is provided via a unique partnership with a leading smart TV OEM, which provides a household TV panel coupled with AdImpact rich TV insights. The data is collected via ACR technology. All device data is 100% opt-in.
