资源简介:
These data correspond to the raw data from the article "Activity of Lactobacillus gasseri and its exopolysaccharides in inflammatory cell model and on Candida albicans proliferation". They correspond to the original files for Figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or Figures 1 and 2 Supplementary data from the article, which aimed to observe by confocal microscopy the co-incubation of Candida albicans and Lactobacillus gasseri, each labelled with Concanavalin A-rhodamine and DAPI, respectively; and to verify the purity of the exopolysaccharides obtained, in particular the absence of protein in the exopolysaccharide extractions by SDS-PAGE. The data include the images corresponding to confocal microscopy of Candida albicans, Lactobacillus gasseri or both microorganisms co-incubated for hours to observe their co-incubation, as well as the original images obtained by confocal microscopy or the original images from SDS-PAGE. The data include raw data, calculations and statistics used for the relative expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines (from Caco-2 cells) and inflammatory markers by qPCR, as well as the protein levels secreted by macrophages in the presence of L. gasseri or their EPS by ELISA. The data also include analysis of AhR activity induced by LgEPS. In parallel, MTT analyses highlight the effects of LgEPS on the proliferation of Caco-2 cells. Some of the results obtained on the effects of LgEPS on C. albicans are also presented via biofilm by Crystal Violet and by absorbance measurements of Candida growth in the presence of LgEPS.
