Most profitable counties in Romania 2018, by revenue

In 2018, Bucharest was by far the most profitable municipality** in Romania, with an annual turnover worth 569.5 billion Romanian lei. In contrast, the poverty and and the lack of investments in counties such as Covasna, Giurgiu, Teleorman, Caras-Severin and Mehedinti represented a very big problem, since the counties barely managed to have a turnover of approximately six billion Romanian lei.
