Data - Autistic traits, social phobia, Internet Use Disorder and Videoconference fatigue

A new psychological construct, videoconference fatigue (VC fatigue), is a negative health outcome of videoconferencing use since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has been negatively associated with health and wellbeing. Literature from theoretical research and earlier studies conducted in Western countries suggested that psychological factors might be vulnerability factors related to VC fatigue, but the impact of psychological factors on VC fatigue in Asia has not been estimated. This study evaluated the associations between several potential psychological factors including autistic traits, social phobia, Internet Use Disorder (IUD), personality trait neuroticism, and VC fatigue in a Chinese sample.
