The dataset, titled Africa IXP & Routing Exposure, focuses on analyzing the distribution of Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) and routing exposure in Africa to assess digital infrastructure risks in the post-quantum cryptography era. It aims to answer which African countries lack local IXPs, causing domestic traffic to be routed through foreign jurisdictions. The dataset includes three CSV files: ds3_ixp_country_coverage.csv (54 rows, documenting IXP coverage per country, such as country code, number of IXPs, and whether an IXP exists), ds3_african_ixps.csv (87 rows, listing detailed information on African IXPs, including IXP ID, name, country, city, number of peers), and ds3_ripe_probe_coverage.csv (54 rows, providing RIPE Atlas probe coverage data per country, such as connected probes).
