PMM High-Resolution Precipitation Radar Atlas — annual climatology (0.05° & 0.25°, GPM DPR / TRMM PR)

CF-1.8 NetCDF4 climatologies of spaceborne precipitation-radar observations on a global lat/lon grid (±68° latitude), aggregated from the TRMM Precipitation Radar (PR, 1997–2014) and the GPM Dual-frequency Precipitation Radar (DPR, 2ADPR, 2014–2026). Two resolutions are provided: a native 0.05° grid (2721×7200) and a 0.25° grid (544×1440). Each file holds 81 annual-mean fields = {GPM, TRMM, COMBINED} × 27 quantities: rain rate/accumulation, raining fraction and intensity percentiles, convective/stratiform partition, drop-size-distribution parameters (Nw, Dm, ε), and 20/30/40 dBZ echo-top heights. GPM uses the 2ADPR dual-frequency retrieval. This is the downloadable companion to the interactive 0.05° Atlas at Hugging Face.
