资源简介:
Bacteria release a large number of volatile compounds with roles in intra- and interkingdom communication. The volatile blends or volatilomes emitted by the legume symbiont Sinorhizobium meliloti include long-chain methylketones (MKs), one of which acts as an infochemical in bacteria and hampers plant-bacteria interactions. In this study, we determine the effect of S. meliloti emitted volatilomes and MKs as pure compounds on natural bacterial populations in the soil and in the rhizosphere and root endosphere of Medicago truncatula plants.
