Share of new medicines available in Europe in 2024, by country

This statistic displays the share of medicines approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) between 2019 and 2022 which were available to patients in selected European countries as of January 5, 2024. According to the data, 88 percent of the medicines were available to patients in Germany, followed by 77 percent in Italy.
