PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a carbon fiber unwoven fabric reducing generation of defects such as wrinkle or nick， suppressing cut of a sheet and good in a tone. SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method for forming a carbon fiber unwoven fabric containing a carbon fiber and a thermoplastic resin fiber by a wet type papermaking method， in which a water drop is sprayed to wet paper before passing through a suction device arranged before a press roll of press part after passage through a couch roll 5 of the foamer part 2 with water amount of 0.2 L to 2.5 L per 1 square meter of the wet paper in a former part 1 in a papermaking process.
