资源简介:
Bangladesh is a heavily poverty stricken country. Two major kinds of organisations look at the situation of the poor and reduce the extent and incidence of poverty: Government organisations and Non-Government Organisations (NGOs). The project sought to evaluate the relative efficiency of handling microfinance projects, comparing Government and NGO approaches, by asking the poor people directly. Participants were surveyed about how satisfied they were with the approach of the organisation; aspects related to the loan, such as the interest rate; and the level of support they received over and above the loan, such as support with schooling and health facilities.
