Molecular biological validation of the effect of Japanese traditional multi-herbal medicine on the senescence

The Japanese traditional medicine (ie. Kampo medicine) consists of several herbs in a single formula. However, the mechanism of action from the viewpoint of elucidation of molecular biology is not known at all. Here, the RNA-seq method was applied to characterize the effect of traditional Japanese medicine in Klotho mouse, a model mouse for aging.
