Deming Lake is a meromictic, ferruginous lake located in Itasca State Park, Minnesota, USA. This dataset includes measurements of nitrogen/argon (N<sub>2</sub>/Ar) and oxygen/argon (O<sub>2</sub>/Ar) gas ratios as well as O<sub>2</sub> and Ar concentrations measured through four depths within the photic zone of the lake in August 2023 using membrane inlet mass spectrometry (MIMS). This data can be used to calculate N<sub>2</sub>/Ar and O<sub>2</sub>/Ar saturation ratios to determine where there is net consumption or production of N<sub>2</sub> and O<sub>2</sub> gas.
