RNA was extracted from A549, MDA-MB-231, and HT29 cells cultured in DMEM supplemented with 10% FBS with the RNeasy Mini kit (QIAGEN). Standard polyA-selected Illumina libraries were generated at the CRG Genomics Unit and were sequenced in an Illumina NextSeq2000, producing an average of ~50 million paired-end 151 bp reads.
