This studies examines the potential contribution of bacteria from groundwater seepage into nearshore water in Lake Michigan. Samples were collected from two different groundwater sampling wells located in Jeorse Park only and compared to two adjacent nearshore lake locations. The study found little contribution of bacteria from groundwater seepage into the lak.
