Whole-Genome Sequencing Data of Bryum argenteumfrom Multiple Geographical Populations

This dataset contains whole-genome sequencing data of the moss Bryum argenteum collected from different geographical regions. The aim of this study is to provide foundational data for comparative genomics and organelle genome (chloroplast and mitochondrial) research in bryophytes. Fresh samples of Bryum argenteumwere collected from multiple field sites, subjected to detoxification treatment, and then aseptically cultured under controlled laboratory conditions to obtain clean plant material for DNA extraction. High-molecular-weight genomic DNA was extracted using a modified CTAB method, and sequencing libraries with an average insert size of approximately 350 bp were constructed. Paired-end sequencing (2×150 bp) was performed, and the raw data are provided in FASTQ format.
