The Regulatory Mechanism of Streptomyces pactum Act12 in Promoting Root Development in Wheat

The transcriptomic analyses suggested that Act12 might promote root development by activating the auxin signaling pathway, while simultaneously inducing galactose metabolism, starch and sucrose metabolism, the TCA cycle, and steroid biosynthesis in roots. This systemic regulation of carbon flux and energy supply allows comprehensive modulation of the root metabolic network, thereby facilitating steroid synthesis and promoting root development. The present study highlights the key role of Act12 in enhancing wheat root development, providing a theoretical foundation for its application in sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural systems.
