Dissimilar climatic niche is predictive of contrasting historical demographic changes and altitudinal shifts in related oak species (<em>Quercus</em>)

The database contains information on nine microsatellite markers from three Mexican oak species. These data were used to infer microevolutionary patterns within the species and to explore their association with climatic affinities. The database includes the size of each locus for all dinucleotide microsatellites analyzed. This information provides valuable insights into the genetic diversity and structure of Mexican oaks, contributing to a better understanding of their adaptation to different environmental conditions.
