Data regarding the mobility patterns and travel habits related to different purposes are collected by means of an online survey distributed between 11-05-2020 and 31-05-2020 in Australia, Brazil, China, Ghana, India, Iran, Italy, Norway, South Africa and the United States. The total number of respondents is equal to 9,394. The survey questionnaire collects information regarding mobility and modal share derived from both commuting and non-commuting travels before and during the COVID-19 mobility restrictions. Furthermore, the survey also investigates the perceived effectiveness of the restrictive measures and the corresponding risk associated to the use of different transport modes. The online survey was created with Google Forms and WenJuanXing and conveniently translated into Chinese, English, Italian, Norwegian, Persian, Portuguese (same content for each language). The survey was distributed via email, social media and professional networks.
