Natural gas flaring emissions in Azerbaijan 1985-2023

As of 2023, 0.8 million tons of carbon dioxide were emitted from natural gas flaring in Azerbaijan. Although this slightly increased compared to 2022, it represented a substantial drop from the other years observed. In 1986, the volume of emissions stood at close to 39 million tons of CO2.
