FAIRsharing record for: FAIR Principles - Findable

This FAIRsharing record describes: The FAIR Principles describe characteristics and aspirations necessary to support the creation and sharing of valuable digital research objects, which can then be rigorously evaluated and extensively reused or reproduced, with appropriate credit, to the benefit of both creator and user. To be valuable, data should be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable by researchers and the wider communities, as well as by machines with no or minimal human intervention. This represents the Findable aspect of FAIR, primarily concerned with the use of suitable identifiers, rich metadata, and the registering and/or indexing of the (meta)data in searchable resources.
